Food RhythmsA Printable Music Activity
Inspired by popular internet memes, Food Rhythms is designed to teach simple meter rhythmic groupings to elementary musicians using the names of foods. The notated rhythms for each food are meant to mimic the natural way that name would be spoken. The goal is for students to be able to count complex rhythms in a fun way. This is a great activity to play at centers or in a small group. Both Color as well as Black and White versions are included. |
